I was never really happy with neither of my versions of Eowyn’s battle with the Nazgul.<\/p>\n

The first one<\/a> had a more dynamic pose for Eowyn but the beast pose was awkward, the second one<\/a> had a good pose of the beast but Eowyn was too rigid. I also experimented with another composition in this sketch<\/a>, but it didn’t evolve in a good way either.<\/p>\n

So this is another attempt as a paintover mixing both versions along with ideas I experimented with in the sketch. It isn’t where I want it to be yet – Eowyn’s hair is too rigid and the horse is muddy in the background – but it is getting there…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
