CG Workshop – Becoming a better artist with Robert Chang
For the next 8 weeks, I will be taking this workshop : “Becoming a better artist with Robert Chang“. This class looks like the ‘kick in the pants’ I need to move on to the next stage in my painting.

In this Becoming A Better Artist CGWorkshop, art director, illustrator, d’artiste author Robert Chang will be sharing his most valued knowledge and techniques that he has acquired over his career as an artist in illustration, comic books, video games and animation. This workshop is specifically designed for students who wish to take their work to the next level but feel lost or lack confidence in their pursuit to become a better artist. The course will focus on the most crucial knowledge, techniques and creative approaches, break bad habits and dispel common misinformation, and map out the most effective and fulfilling path for students to excel as artists.

How did it go? I am thinking about signing up
It went really well. I knew it would be a good course when the first lesson included ‘how to adjust your seat’.
The feedback during the course was sometimes blunt but never mean. You really need to check you ego at the door to take advantage of a course like this.
It gave me a lot to think of – from how to improve my technique all the way down to what do I really want to do creatively.
I highly recommend it if you want to cover the bases of digital painting and get tons of inspiration, feedback and insights from a professional.
