Designed, developed and shipped an application that establishes a connection with an Oracle database, retrieves data, and populates software validation protocols with the retrieved data based upon dynamic sql queries. The application also updates the database with instrumentation data from an Excel file, or by querying IBM Maximo asset management databases. Responsible for writing UML, drawing sequence diagram, drawing a wireframe for the GUI, and establishing dynamic database connectivity via JDBC and property files, and writing the update function. Designed the architecture under the supervision of the project technical lead. Created and maintained the Ant build script, with support for junit and log4j. Set up a build server using VSS. The build server and Ant scripts were used from development to deployment. The application supports FDA requirements and was designed to be easily validated according to FDA requirements.
