Image Processing

Used finite impulse response, low pass, band pass, and high pass filters to process images. The discrete filtering was done using Matlab. It was possible to see how varying the filter responses would alter the image. We were required to calculate different filter specifications and then process the images.

Research – Purdue University

Participated in selective program which provided research opportunities to undergraduates. Six month research lab for Caspie to learn scientific research techniques and carry them out in an instructive environment. The research involved antioxidant isolation and analysis. Specifically determining a repeatable method for quantifying the amount of ascorbate in foods. A research report was prepared which summarized the experiments and conclusions.
